📦 Shipping & DOA Guarantee

At White Cliff Aquatics, we take great care to ensure your order reaches you safely and quickly. Below you’ll find our shipping details, Live Arrival Guarantee (DOA Policy) for livestock, and information on our quarantine process.


🚚 Shipping Information

  • Dry Goods: Posted via Royal Mail or courier service (2–5 working days).

  • Livestock & Plants: Sent via Next Day Delivery (Tracked & Insured).

  • Dispatch Days: Monday – Thursday (to avoid weekend delays).

  • Cut-Off Time: Orders placed after 12pm may be dispatched the following day.

We pack all livestock in insulated boxes with heat packs or cool packs (depending on season) to ensure safe transit.


🐠 Quarantine Process

To ensure the health of our livestock, some fish may undergo a two-week quarantine period before shipping.

  • This allows us to monitor their health and condition.

  • During this time, we may hold your order until the fish are ready to travel safely.

  • If your order contains quarantined livestock, we will notify you of any delay.

Your livestock’s health is our top priority, and this process helps reduce stress and improve long-term survival in your aquarium.


🐠 Live Arrival Guarantee (DOA Policy)

We guarantee your livestock will arrive alive and healthy. If a Dead on Arrival (DOA) occurs, we will provide a credit or replacement subject to the following conditions:

  1. Proof Required

    • Clear photo/video of the unopened bag with the deceased livestock must be sent to us within 2 hours of delivery confirmation.

  2. Delivery Acceptance

    • Someone must be available to accept delivery on the first attempt. Missed deliveries or delays caused by the customer void the guarantee.

  3. Exclusions

    • We cannot guarantee survival if water parameters in your aquarium are unsuitable.

    • Losses due to courier delays outside of our control may not be covered, but we will always do our best to help.


💳 Refunds & Replacements

  • DOA livestock will be credited or replaced on your next order.

  • Shipping costs are non-refundable.

  • If more than one fish/invert is ordered, only the DOA livestock will be credited.
