Goldring Butterfly Loach

The Hillstream Loach is a truly unique freshwater species, often described as a miniature stingray thanks to its flattened body and sucker-like fins. Native to fast-flowing rivers in Asia, this loach thrives in highly oxygenated water and loves to graze on algae-covered rocks and glass.

Its striking patterns, peaceful nature, and algae-eating habits make it a favourite among aquascapers and community tank keepers. Hillstream Loaches are perfect for cooler, well-oxygenated aquariums with strong water movement.
