Product Description – Silver Shark (Balantiocheilos melanopterus)
Also known as the Bala Shark, the Silver Shark is a striking and energetic freshwater fish prized for its metallic sheen and graceful, shark-like appearance. Despite its name, this species is peaceful and makes a great addition to large community aquariums.
Silver Sharks are highly active swimmers and should be kept in groups of 3 or more to reduce stress and promote natural schooling behavior. With proper care and space, they grow into impressive centerpiece fish.

Due to their adult size and active nature, Silver Sharks require spacious tanks with ample swimming room and a secure lid (they can jump!).
